Welcome to the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church

in Braunstone Leicester. The Parish covers a large area of the west side of Leicester. It covers Braunstone, Braunstone Town, Leicester Forest East, Kirby Muxloe and the Thorpe Astley estate.  

 

 

 

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes ....


This annual Diocesan Pilgrimage this year will be from 16- 20th July.  Travel will be by air from East Midlands to Lourdes.  Accommodation will be half board at a choice of hotels.  Prices range from £649 to £699 per person.  Booking forms and further information are on the notice board in the porch.  


Saturday Scripture Seminar ....


This is now under way at St Peter's, meeting on Saturday mornings from 9:30-11:00am.  Places are strictly limited, so, if you want to go, please first make enquires of Father Pateman on a.pateman@talktalk.net 
If it is full, he says there may be further opportunities to join at the beginning of the Summer or Autumn terms on 5th May to 29th September. 


International Evening ....

Our first International Evening in October 2016 was a great success and after many requests to do it again, we will be doing it again on 5th May

Pilgramage to Lisieux ....

Lent Retreat for Women ....


The Diocese has arranged another Lent Retreat for Women at The Briars- in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside - from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th March.  The inclusive cost is £70.  For further information and to book a place, please contact: bookings@ndcys.com


Come Walking & Talking ....


On the first Tuesday of each month you are invited to come along to the church at 10am and we will go for a little walk.  We are starting slowly to see how it goes before we see about venturing further afield.

Three walked last month along Gooding Avenue to Hinckley Road and through the Park to the new hotel - with all the chatting, about 40 minutes.  Then a large cup of coffee at the Hotel - £2
